Birmingham-based Industrial Washing Machines (IWM) has renewed its commitment to serve the local community. Alongside this, helping to offer support to those less fortunate. The industrial washing equipment manufacturers are continuing their sponsorship of Redditch Rugby Club. Additionally,  making annual donations to Shelter. IWM is a family-owned business set up almost four decades ago in the Kings Norton area of Birmingham. The company employs local people and has supplied, from their extensive factory and shop floor, industrial washing equipment used in small businesses and international companies alike.

Proud to be offering financial support to Shelter

As leading industrial washing equipment manufacturers, IWM wishes to continue giving back to the community. Therefore, IWM has renewed its pledge to offer financial support to Shelter. Shelter is a registered charity that campaigns to end homelessness and bad housing in England and Scotland.
“We are living unprecedented times and many people are finding themselves in financial difficulty”, said Carl Hollier, Managing Director at IWM. “Hard working individuals who were gainfully employed, have seen their income diminish or disappear completely, with many families on the brink of homelessness and depending on food banks. Supporting charities like Shelter is very important to us because of the crucial work they do, especially now during the coronavirus pandemic.”

Sponsors of Redditch Rugby Football Club

In addition to Shelter, IWM has also been sponsoring Redditch Rugby Football Club (RRFC). Paul Thurston, Sales Manager at IWM and rugby aficionado has been a key driver for this initiative.
“RRFC is part of Redditch Cricket, Hockey and Rugby Football located handily near the centre of Redditch”, said Paul. “I used to be part of the rugby team for years. I believe in donating to RRBC as it caters for everyone in the community, from mini and juniors, to ladies and senior grades playing in local league and merit tables. They even have a popular men’s veteran side, which means that RRFC is fun for the whole family!”
